ABOUT ME

I have long held a passion for working with and for those who feel the weight of the world the most, remaining dedicated to causes that, in some way, enrich the standing of vulnerable, marginalised, or disadvantaged populations in society and/or afford them the quality of life enshrined in their human rights; in constantly pushing for the protection, support, and empowerment of these populations, and the rectification or betterment of societies (and their social structures) that have thus far failed to do so.

A highly motivated, well-rounded, and diligent global thinker, with demonstrated interest and experience in social justice, policy, advocacy, research, and community and sustainable development - particularly in youth and gender-focused roles. Curious, ambitious, and energetic, my experiences thus far have reinforced my commitment to and bolstered my expertise in social justice causes rooted in fairness and dignity for all.

Wanjiku Waibochi

It is from the numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.
